The union committee have decided their goal will be

'Inclusiveness based on communication and value of events'.

 

We will achieve this through

• Improving our communication

o New website

o Questionnaire to all members

• Increase interest / Encourage attendance

o A calendar of events in advance

o Attractive prices

o Interesting guests

• Improve our funding

o Introduction of an annual fee

o Sponsorship from past pupils

• Contribute more to those in need

o A charitable focus around events

• Create a feeling of belonging

o Being part of the union allow access to selective information

 

These are worthy goals and I believe in these challenging times, it makes networking important and our Union more relevant.  Our aim is to continue growing the membership of our Union, particularly among our younger members. To further help engage with our younger members we have opened a site on the facebook, blogger and linkedin.
