Annual Dinner 2007
This year’s Annual Dinner will be held on Friday 5th October. We have again upped the ante on the guest speaker. We are delighted to announce that rather than be addressed by the present Taoiseach, this year we will be addressed by a future Taoiseach! Jim O’Callaghan of the Class of ‘86 stood for election to the Dail during the last General Electionand while unsuccessful, we are all well aware of how that other unsuccessful candidate, law scholar and rugby player, Peter “Sudds” Sutherland has done since.
Jim is a man to be watched over the years to come and as a past pupil and relatively recent entrant to the world of Irish politics, we look forward to receiving his fresh and insightful views on the subject.
Tickets can be booked and paid for on-line at www.gonzagaunion.ie. Due to the current building work at the school, the dinner will be held in the old school hall so spaces will, be limited.
Please book early to avoid disappointment.
