Niamh Brennan, Professor of Management at University College was the guest speaker at this years business lunch.
Professor Niamh Brennan was our speaker and outlined the strong family connections that she had with the Jesuits. Her Uncle of course is Fr Joe Brennan SJ, and her brothers were educated at Belvedere College. Professor Brennan then went on to talk about the lack of responsibility showed by many Irish people who hold directorships in the business community. She recounted some horrific anecdotes that she had experienced in her career, and she stated that this was certainly a contributing factor to the sorry state of the Irish economy.
