Patrick Potts Retires - Kevin Whirdy Takes Over
It came as a great surprise when Patrick Potts announced that he would be retiring from the position of Head Master after 17 years at the helm. The school has been very fortunate to have had such a capable and dedicated Head Master. He will be missed by
all.
To mark our appreciation, the Union Presidents (past and present) and the Union Committee made a small presentation to Patrick in August. He has been great supporter of and friend to the Union. We wish him all the very best in his retirement.
Our congratulations to Kevin Whirdy who took over from Patrick at the beginning of September. We wish him every success and look forward to working closely with him over the coming years. One of the first challenges facing Kevin will be managing
the construction of the new building by the tennis courts. It is a major project and will
greatly enhance the school.
